A real woodworking workbench, fitted out with a vice, is something I have never had, but have been meaning to build for some time. With my time off this summer, I decided it was high time I built myself a workbench.
I didn’t want to spend too much on this workbench, so to save myself some money I decided to build it from 2×4″ Pine and spare 3/4″ sheet material. Although it’s a little rough and ready, the workbench is solidly built and provides me with everything I need for the time being. The tail vice which I used was a basic “plain screw vice guide”- It can be bought from here. I don’t get payed for linking to this, it is simply what I used myself.
