Once on the stand which turned out to be very robust, the bandsaw seemed much larger (it only just fitted inside the workshop). The stand works well at collecting most of the dust which falls from the bottom of the bandsaw although at first some dust would be blown from just bellow the table but It is a lot better after a few adjustments.
I sounds silly now but I spent a lot time pondering over what colour to finish the bandsaw, originally I thought green, but that was really because I was familiar with it in green. I eventually decided upon black and I couldn’t be happier with it, combined with the reddish table and draws I think it looks great.
In this final video you get a really good look at what makes a bandsaw as a reassemble it all in front of you.
